CONCLUSION/FINDINGS
Final conclusions made on designs and manufacturing
Throughout our ideation, design, and manufacturing, we learned what it takes takes to put out a product from start to finish. Also, we acquired skills of working in a team environment from hours of working on our product. In the ideation stage, we were able to grasp how we could improve the speaker design and improve consumer satisfaction. We weighed the pros and cons of different designs to form a coherent and efficient model that would later become our prototype. In the design stage, we utilized PTC creo (CAD software) to create a three dimensional model of our design. In the manufacturing stage, we used additive printing (3-d printing) to create our first physical prototype of the speaker holder. Featured above is our prototype in action. We found that our blue tooth speaker innovation was functional! Although this is the first prototype, it shows the potential to be very popular in the market- especially considering its cost and capabilities. we worked to create a portable bike holder that had a firm attachment to the bike (possible with our strap design), featured a 360 degree rotation, cost friendly, and housed the speaker with greater efficient while maintaining the original features of the product.
